Château Tertre Roteboeuf (Saint-Emilion)

A small estate of 6 hectares, Tertre-Roteboeuf is François Mitjavile’s other cru. Located in the commune of Saint-Laurent-de-Combes, it is renowned for its wines of great originality and density. It has to be said that, since the late 1970s, François Mitjaville has done his utmost to give this renowned estate its special lustre. Tertre-Roteboeuf’s philosophy is based on craftsmanship, well-ripened grapes and ageing in new barrels. The wines are rich and deep, with aromas of black fruit, truffle and cocoa, and a long, lingering finish.
