Château Canon (Saint-Emilion)

This jewel of Saint-Émilion belongs to the Wertheimer family (Chanel). It has shone particularly brightly since it came under the management of Nicolas Audebert. Here, tradition meets innovation. The company’s philosophy is based on viticulture that respects the environment and meticulous vinification, which precedes millimetre-scale ageing. Canon wines offer a rich palette of aromas, with notes of black fruit, truffle and cocoa, underpinned by silky tannins and a long finish. We’re at the pinnacle of quality here, and the wine could well one day be classified A.
