Pierre-Jean Villa

Pierre-Jean Villa never inherited any vines. Hard-working and passionate, he trained in Burgundy at Clos de Tart, and is now restoring an old farmhouse in his childhood village of Chavannay, where he vinifies and ages his wines. In 2022, he moved to a new, larger, ultra-modern winery. Working as a trio with his two children Pauline and Hugo, he produces terroir-driven wines with great finesse and depth. Created in 2008, this estate has been awarded two stars by the Revue des Vins de France. Every year, it establishes itself as one of the great estates of the Rhône Valley.
