Jean-Michel Gerin

Jean-Michel Gerin is one of the pioneers of the Côte Rôtie revival, owning some of the most sought-after plots in the appellation. The estate was created in 1987, and a year later Jean-Michel was harvesting and vinifying these parcels separately, giving birth to the iconic Grandes Places and La Landonne. In recent years, his two sons Alexis and Michael have joined the domaine and continue to produce some of the region’s finest red and white wines. The latest addition is Côte-Rôtie Côte-Bodin, produced from the appellation’s finest terroirs since 2018. This year is also marked by the organic certification of the white wines. The red wines will follow next year.
