Cidrerie du Vulcain (Fribourg)
Jacques Perritaz, a biologist by training, makes these exceptional ciders and perries in Treyvaux in the canton of Fribourg. His aim is to bring out the best in pears, apples, quince and, more recently, grapes, to produce exceptional results. His natural cuvées bring out the best in their terroirs and are a superb alternative to champagnes. Today, his ciders are exported all over the world and are served on some of the finest tables in the world.
