Château Pibarnon (Bandol)

The legendary Château Pibarnon is located on the heights of Cadière d’Azur, with a spectacular view over the rocky coast of the Calanques to the east of Marseille. It produces great red wines for laying down, made from Mourvèdre and Grenache grapes. These wines are produced on plots at an altitude of 300 metres, facing towards the sea. This exceptional terroir is rich in limestone and blue marl, which gives the wines a vinous, powerful, elegant appearance, but they deserve a few years in the cellar to allow them to express their full potential. Their rosé is also one of the finest expressions of Provence. It’s made from Mourvédre and Cinsault grapes, giving it aromas of red fruit, spices and an exceptional Mediterranean florality.
