Château Pape Clément (Pessac-Léognan)

Founded in 1252, Pape Clément owes its name to Pope Clement V, born Bertrand de Goth, who owned the estate in the 14th century. This historic gem is run by the intractable Bernard Magrez. This Château, where tradition meets innovation, practises sustainable and respectful viticulture. The philosophy is based on excellence and the pure expression of the terroir, which is extremely valuable here. Followed by the media-friendly Michel Rolland, the wines are rich and opulent, with aromas of ripe fruit, noble wood and spices, offering a full, generous and velvety palate.
