Owned by the heirs of the Mähler-Besse and Sichel families, Château Palmer has been run since 2004 by the media-friendly Thomas Duroux. This prestigious Château, a Third Growth Classé, uses biodynamic viticulture to bring out the best in its magisterial terroir. Palmer’s philosophy is based on a balance between tradition and innovation, with an openness to modern techniques (barrel ageing). Palmer wines are elegant and complex, with aromas of red fruit, flowers and spices, and a silky, sensual texture that will charm even the most discerning palate.
