Château Figeac (Saint-Emilion)

Figeac is a myth and a symbol of elegance and tradition. A neighbour of Cheval Blanc, this cult cru is now run by Frédéric Faye. It stands out for its unique grape varieties, in which Cabernet dominates, including Cabernet Sauvignon, making it a special case in the region. The philosophy is based on careful viticulture and sober, discreet vinification. The wines combine density and finesse, offering a rich aromatic palette of black fruits, spices and a touch of minerality, with an exceptional tannic structure. The most Medoc-like of the Saint-Emilions, this is a great wine for (long) cellaring.
