Indiano Indiano
Nestled in the heart of the Sierra de Gredos, just an hour from Madrid, this new high-altitude estate will release its very first vintage in 2024, which already looks very promising. On granite soils perched at 1,100 metres, old Grenache vines produce wines of remarkable finesse and vigour.
Domaine Indiano is led by the talented Maca, a former oenologist at Riccitelli in Argentina, and Charles, who trained at Cheval Blanc, Cheval des Andes, Vacheron and Jean-Marc Roulot. The estate also produces a white and a rosé of great precision (voted among the 100 best in Spain). Already identified as one to watch by James Suckling and Robert Parker, it is establishing itself as one of the region’s major revelations, following in the footsteps of a certain Commando G!
